Book of Us: How to Discuss Essential Questions before Getting Married

 

Earlier this year, I posted an Instagram story with a question box to have some Q&A sessions. I let people talk to me and ask me anything about life after marriage. I expect to discuss the big question of “What change after being married to someone?”. The conversation mostly goes to careers, future studies and long-distance marriage. WHICH (unfortunately) I was kind-of/already-have experience on those topics. It makes me the right person to talk about those things, isn’t it? Hahaha.

It is true what people said that you may discover new opportunities from the people you don’t expect. It happened to me last December. Taking pictures was merely a hobby for me at first, even a new hobby probably since it regularly occurred since I arrived in London. I did take some pictures from my friend, Mara, on her graduation day just because she asked and I voluntarily made it. Then I uploaded her beautiful pictures in my Instagram account and somehow people appreciate it a lot! 

And then one night, a new friend I met in a gathering event in London, Erian, texted me. She said that she needs a hand to captures her boyfriend's graduation photographs. Well, who would say no to capture a happy day?

It was a cloudy day London, but nothing stops from the three days in a row graduation ceremony in LSE, London School of Economics and Political Sciences. LSE holds the graduation ceremony in July and December, and this one is my first experience to see how is the atmosphere going on the grads! And in this rainy yet beautiful day, one of my friends, Mara, celebrated her graduation from MSc Anthropology and Development of LSE. Congratulations, Mara!
